Gotham City Pizzeria is an institution. When my dad Giovanni Dominic Fitziano opened a small store-front in Gotham’s Little Italy district in 1967, it was a family affair. Of course, we had a big family, but everyone had their job.

My beloved mom, Maria Teresa, was in charge of buying the freshest ingredients every day. Sometimes she would take me at 5:30 in the morning to the markets to pick the best tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms. My dad rolled the dough and flipped it over his head. Grandma made home-made sausage and perfected the sauce. And I was in charge of "customer relations" - mainly picking up the dirty dishes and looking cute. I was only 5, after all.

Soon, our pizza became known in the neighborhood. And the secret slowly leaked out. All of Gotham was lining up for a GCP slice. And that one storefront turned into a dining room, and then a dining room and a banquet room, and then we opened up another pizzeria in Gotham, and then another.

When my dad passed the business onto me, I wanted to bring our pizza pies to every corner of Gotham. So I started offering franchises. We made sure to keep our quality high while we opened up more than 200 locations throughout the City. Now, nobody has an excuse to eat bad pizza in Gotham. Gotham City Pizzeria has put the pride back in Gotham Pizza!
